For many, reaching out for help isn’t easy. Being authentic and transparent can make us feel vulnerable – but I believe that is where we find strength. When we are real with each other we build trust – all strengths are shared and challenges become victories!
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
If you are waiting for a certain “calling” to help someone in need, the wait is over. We are all already “called” to help each other. As brothers and sisters in Christ – children of God, we are to operate out of the love that’s in us.
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?
1 John 3:17
We are to meet needs that we see to the best of our ability. If we trust God as our source, we will meet every need – just as Christ Jesus demonstrated for us as he ministered. He sent Holy Spirit to empower us to do the works He did and even greater.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:12-13
By reaching out, in obedience to the word of God, we draw people to the goodness of God. Prayers will be answered through you, and you will be blessed as you bless others – if you allow yourself to be used.
Thank you my friend. I’ve learned that it’s about showing love to the person in front of you – one at a time, every day.

It’s a beautiful message to read during these spiritual unstable times.
