“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” (Hebrews 11:1-3)
Why is it so important to have faith? Because it is the substance, or raw material, that makes up the unseen. When moving into uncharted territory in your life, do not fear because you can’t “see” what’s coming. Why? Because by faith you secure your destination. I encourage you to have great expectations. Expect success, expect good health, expect all the blessings you have been given according to Ephesians 1:3 and 3:20.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,”
Ephesians 1:3
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”
Ephesians 3:20
Remember who you are and whose you are. Expectation is the highest form of faith – and our Father honors faith.
