I refuse to get caught up in this argument about how many genders there are. The word of God settles it. For those who refuse to believe the Bible, science also confirms that truth. I’m not being hateful in speaking the truth, which is what the world wants me to believe. I believe what Jesus said; “But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’” (Mark 10:6 NKJV).
I will not shun people who disagree with me on this matter – they are not my enemy. What I will do is try to make them my friend and love them as Christ instructed. I don’t have to compromise the truth by doing that. In fact, I’d be compromising the Truth that’s in me by not loving them. I know what fuels the hate – it’s deception.
“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (II Thessalonians 2:9-10 NKJV)
This whole argument about gender identity is the work of the devil. That’s where I will direct my anger – and with everything in me I will do whatever I can to destroy it. Evil is overcome with good. So I will pray, show compassion, and fight by standing on the truth of God’s word. The enemy has no power against the truth – and the Truth is in me.
