“Dying to self” is a phrase many of us are familiar with, but can’t allow it to become “christianese”. This is step one to solving our identity crisis. If we don’t know who we are in relationship to Christ, we can’t hear Him or enjoy the life of victory He has already provided – we will find ourselves seeking a victorious life rather than living it.
