Resilience

If you are compromising your faith, cherry picking the Bible, or simply ignoring certain Biblical truth in the “name of love”, you are not showing love to anyone – including yourself. God is exposing the false prophets of our time. It’s heart breaking but none us should be surprised. “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,” (2 Timothy 4:3).

We have pastors and leaders who have been entrusted a platform to the masses to make disciples of Christ Jesus – instead have allowed themselves to be discipled to the world. Be like the Bereans and search the scriptures, discern the Word for yourself so you are not mislead. Loving someone does not require you to accept ungodly behavior. In fact it’s exactly the opposite – loving someone requires you to point out ungodly behavior and help them through it.

The veil is torn (Mark 15:38), and now it’s past time to remove the blinders from your eyes. Do as scripture instructs; “Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1). However, you can’t follow a false prophet or lost pastor who refuses to be corrected – they can’t point you to Jesus, they will lead you to the fate of the enemy.

“O love the LORD, all you His godly ones! The LORD preserves the faithful And fully recompenses the proud doer. Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.” (Psalms 31:23-24)
