God may not come when you call, but He’s always on time…
These are wise words I’m sure many of you, like me, heard from your parents or grandparents. They spoke from experience – from a real relationship with Jesus.
See, during times of trouble, time itself seemed to be against me. I become obsessed with praying that God would hurry up and deliver me from the mess I was in. I impatiently asked; “God can’t You see I’m suffering here?” Here’s what I’ve learned – Jesus was waiting on me.
Jesus always takes the appropriate amount time needed to draw us one step closer to Him – and we all learn at a different pace. I praise Jesus for His patience! Please hear me, walking by faith entails trusting Jesus and His timing. Our focus should be on the lessons being taught – all test in this life are open book, paise Jesus!
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
Time is relative – it depends on your life point of view. A temporal view will have you stressed in a New York minute, but an eternal view allows Jesus to set your pace.
